Kim Vance CEO,
Kim grew up in Hendersonville, TN. Getting into the tourism industry was a complete accident. She took a part time job as a front desk clerk while attending nursing school. At the time, she was a single mom and juggling school, a job and a son were too much. Nursing was always her passion until she had to make a decision on what path to take. It was then she realized her true passion was in the travel business. In 1998, Kirk, who she was dating wanted to move back to his hometown of Springfield, MO, so in April of 1998 the three moved to the Ozarks where Kirk and Kim married on New Year’s Eve. Kim went to work for Flemming Tours as the sales director. She was with Flemming Tours for 12 years and then the opportunity was given to her to buy the company so she did in June of 2010, and Flemming tours became AdVance Tour & Travel.
Kim and her husband are now empty nesters who love to travel, especially on cruises. They love to spend their summers camping and boating at the lake and they are very involved with a RV group called On The Lam Sam’s. They also make time to travel to Nashville to spend time with their son, Brandon, Daughter-in-law Lisbeth and grandsons Phoenix, Thomas, and Thimothy and granddaughter Isabella.
Becky Foley
Becky was born and raised in Minnesota. She has lived in Missouri for the last 32 years and before that she lived in Arkansas and Texas. She has one daughter who also lives in Missouri and a son who lives in Florida. She has six wonderful grandchildren whom she loves to spend time with. Upon arriving in Missouri Becky worked for Bass Pro Shops in Springfield. In her 20 years with the company, her favorite position was assisting the opening of new stores. Her favorite opening was in Boston, MA and in California. She loved meeting new people and seeing new parts of the country.
Getting into the tourism industry by going to work at AdVance Tour and Travel happened when Kim and Becky’s daughter Tara were camping at the lake and Kim mentioned she needed to hire. Becky’s name was brought up and the rest is history. Becky looks forward to speaking with and hearing about where you would like your next dream vacation planned to.
Noma Montgomery – Tour Guide
Noma was born in Carthage, Missouri but grew up in Springfield, Mo. She graduated from Parkview High School and Missouri State University where she met her husband, Kerry Montgomery. For a short time after graduating college, she lived in Kansas City and taught at Truman High School until returning to Springfield to be married. She and Kerry have two sons and four grandsons and they enjoy all the sporting events and activities the boys are involved in. Noma and Kerry love to travel, participate in church activities, and Kerry is an avid golfer. Working as a tour guide in Branson and all over the US for over 20 years has been one of the most enjoyable and rewarding experiences of Noma’s life. She loves to be meet great new people on her journeys.
